I see a lot of feedback about poor instructions, no heat and no lather. The instructions try to use a very small number of images to deal with a large number of different languages. This would be a problem if this device wasn't easy to use and maintain. What is it? The main unit has two functions and no moving parts. (The whisk moves but is held in place with a magnet.) If you want hotter milk and more froth, use less milk. There is a mark on the inside, but when heating and frothing you should always see the top edge of the frother above the liquid level. Any higher and the air cannot be turned on. Also, this is a time cycle, so the more liquid, the less heat. That's physics. This brings me to my biggest complaint: This device can only be used for a very low volume. For the coffee mug (regular size) I use (and the size I want) I have to go through the whole process twice. Honestly, I'm not asking much, but I'm too lazy. I have two of these - one for home, one for work - and they both work great, even after hundreds of uses over a year (can't remember when I got the first one). Cleaning is ridiculously easy: remove the whisk, rinse and clean with dish soap, do the same with the inside and lid. Do not use abrasive cleaners (VERY important for the indoor unit - the base surface for the whisk is a non-stick slat coating and you are effectively destroying the "motor" if this surface is damaged in any way. There are also electronics within it that operate on normal mains electricity Try not to get the device wet more than necessary. That is, do not place the exterior (or the bottom) of the main device under running water, do not immerse it in water, and never immerse it in water. Wash it the inside (where the milk comes out) and if the outside (the part that never comes into contact with food) is dirty, gently wipe it with nothing but a damp cloth, the pictures in the try to do this Instructions Tell you there is no mark on the bottom or inside where the bulge comes in. Any foreign material here will affect how si ch the thing turns. For those who can't figure out the No-H ear foam, simply press and hold the power button until the device turns on (as opposed to praying and letting go immediately). If the blue light comes on, you've done everything right. Red light means it's heating up. That's all. There is no heat setting other than on or off. No speed setting, no time setting. Simply pour milk, press button, pour into coffee, repeat, then clean.
