I can't tell if it works or not for the elbow pad. I can tell you it fits and feels durable. I haven't washed it but it doesn't crumble so I don't think it will just fall apart. The reviews didn't mention the size so I'm sir. I ordered a small one because I didn't know whether to make a large one or a small one. My bitch is around 50 pounds (Australian Cattle Dog Mix) and she usually wears a size L because she is fat all over. The small size fits her perfectly. Got exactly where I needed it and didn't have to adjust the orthosis much. She seemed well and could walk normally. Easy to take off and put on.
