The most incredible piece of ductile iron I've ever seen

The most incredible piece of ductile iron I've ever seen. There are some cooler aftermarket brands that have great reviews but when I saw them from Dana I had to give it a try. I'm glad I did. Workmanship and finish are first class. (I have an XJ with a 44 in the back and a D30 in the front, so I bought both.) Looks like they burned through the iron and powdercoated it with a shiny, smooth finish. I was surprised that the Poison Spyders, which definitely looked sinister and hid the screw heads really well, were actually cheaper than those Dana blocks. I did want a drain plug though and love the fact that they are made in the USA by the same manufacturer that has been making axles in the USA for over 110 years. Of course that was the original Dana axle manufacturer for my XJ too! They are HEAVY compared to a lot of brands but after helping the guys clear the track when their aluminum covers ripped I don't mind! I replaced the top 3 screws with bolts so it's easier to hang up and doesn't have problems with rocks on the trails. I'm a fan of Lube Locker and bought them with these caps, but the gaskets supplied by Dana are really unique, like a smooth metal impregnated gasket. I'll save them for other projects as I already have LL, but I'm interested in seeing how they work. You will NOT be disappointed!
