Okay, this can be long winded and I may not have given this mat a proper warm up, but my experience with it was short and painful. I bought this to put under a tray with a hole in the top and my two cats treated the new tray like an alien spaceship. They wouldn't have had anything to do with it, but they peed on the carpet, which in turn gave off a stench that filled the second floor. I wiped it down which only intensified the smell. In desperation I poured bleach on him and looking back it was a HUGE mistake. My eyes burned and I ran out of the room into the fresh air. When the air cleared, I rolled it up and sealed it in a trash bag, sadder but wiser. No matter what gummy chemicals it's made of, it doesn't tolerate kitty litter or urine, and if I've abused it I apologize, but I'd rather deal with spilled trash than that smell! Customer service was excellent for staying in touch and arranging a full refund. I would buy from them again without hesitation.
