Review on 🌟 ACE-207249 Adjustable Elbow Support: Enhanced Comfort for a Perfect Fit, One Size Fits Most, Pack of 1 by Marcus Dorgham

Revainrating 1 out of 5

3 options with the same part number

I already had one of these, a neoprene sleeve with 2 velcro straps and an open elbow on the inside. I tried to get another one this year - a third party (AllUNeed) supplied one with the same Ace part number which had a very uncomfortable nylon or viscose inner elbow pad and the neoprene was full diameter - so it felt in the elbow bent and puckered If it is bent I sent it back because it was not as advertised. So I bought another one from Revain hoping it would be an older model (as shown on the packaging on the product detail page). This one, still with the same Ace and UPC item number as the previous two, consists of two spandex-like elastic straps paired with elbow padding - so they're open on the inside of the elbow, just like I wanted, but without being continuous soft sleeves above and below the elbow. - the design is more like a bone bandage. It also has an annoying inner nylon sleeve that tangles like the previous one I bought. It's as shown in the excellent Fangirl review - check out her review with photos. I strongly recommend DAVON - as she said the inner sleeve is SMALL - child sized and the shoulder straps are designed for a maximum height of 13 inches not 15 or 16 inches as stated on the packaging. With a 13 inch elbow size (and the same arm measurements top and bottom) it was like a tourniquet for me. Had to stretch the straps around a large food can for hours to fit my hand (with velcro that barely holds up). so every time you put it on - AFTER the initial hard stretch. You'll also need to carefully snip off many loose ends of the nylon thread at the seams of the straps with a razor or an XActo knife - otherwise they'll dig into your hand. I think they've moved away from the old style of neoprene sleeves because they really do sweat (like wearing part of a wetsuit sleeve) but this revamp is a step backwards in my opinion - they'll just go back to a neoprene sleeve with velcro and a cutout for the inside parts of the elbow (or outside if you prefer).

Pros
  • For injuries like tennis or golfer's elbow
Cons
  • High price
