You need a QNAP TS-431KX. let me explain. We use multiple QNAP rackmount NAS at work and need a device for backup when we're away from the office. We first tried the single disk NAS TS-131K. Had to return it after finding out you can't use a regular USB case to expand the storage; You must use the QNAP model extension device. We then tried the TS-431K 4-bay NAS. Had to return it after realizing it was running slow due to lack of RAM. In addition, the memory is integrated and cannot be upgraded. However, the TS-431KX is what you need: it has 2 GB of RAM, expandable up to 8 GB.
