First of all, this is an amazing product! I do NOT regret investing in Ninja V, it put my Sony A7iii on steroids. Not only that, my workflow has gotten a lot better. I usually shoot gorilla style so if you know it's very important to be fully focused and know what's going on while you run and shoot. I haven't even used all the features yet, but I'm really looking forward to it! So now a VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE. I learned this the hard way so hopefully it will help others not to make the same mistake I did. HD for slow motion there was a big problem! Now I'm not sure if this applies to other cameras, but if you're shooting with the A7iii then this is for you (I'd check other cameras anyway). When you shoot in HD and record on the Ninja V, Ninja actually records the camera's screen meters into the footage you capture! This caused me to lose all the footage I had taken during the day, thank goodness I was a backup camera. THE FIX is this: Go to Menu / Setup / HDMI Settings / HDMI Info Display and turn it off! I may not be aware of this at all, but I had no idea Ninja V Scene Meters would only record to HD. Hope this helps someone!
