The MacBook Pro Mid 2012 has 3 types of screws that hold the bottom panel in place. 3 long screws, 3 short regular screws and 4 thumbscrews to attach the front row holding the plate. I DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT SCREWS. I got 2 sets. both are different and both are wrong. The rubber feet seem fine. As long as you remove the old ones and remove ALL residue from the old legs you should be fine. A good tip is to use a regular hair dryer to warm up your new legs after getting dressed. This ensures that they hold up well. Make sure you line them up correctly. I received a set with only 2 knurled screws and 5 regular screws with 3 long screws. The second set had no tine bolts. 3 long screws. I don't like it at all. The cost of the screws is too low to take the return time. AVOID this item if you are expecting a factory replacement for the Mid 2012 Macbook A1278. You don't get what is advertised.
