The drive never wants to connect properly to USB.
The drive doesn't want to fit properly in the USB slot, I think the drive bay is set too deep into the case. If for some reason I put my computer to sleep by plugging it into the USB port, when you try to turn it back on, it boots the computer into safe mode.
