I have ordered two jackets from this brand one was in the style sold on this site for my sisters pit bull and the other was a different one, similar but not as thick/warm style for my black medium/long haired German shepherd. Both dogs are males and their sizes are very similar to each other so I carefully ordered each jacket according to the size chart provided by the company; When they received the items, none of them came even close to matching the two dogs. Each jacket was incredibly small and despite ordering XL, each jacket didn't even fit a dog's waist/chest size. As a result, none of the dogs could extend their second forearm, so they couldn't even put their jackets on. I made sure to ask for the correct sizes when ordering and even referenced other people's questions and provided the answers to make sure I got the right size for our dogs so I'm a little surprised that there were problems with the sizes that I bought. On the positive side, exchanging the jacket was very easy and the company sent me a replacement in the correct size incredibly quickly. I sent both XL jackets back and got XXXL instead. However, for those looking to purchase I would beware as there are clearly some issues with the size chart provided and the breeds that say XXXL can fit. It says XXXL should be good for very large dogs like St. Bernards, Mastiffs, Great Pyrenees etc. but XXXL is what I needed to fit my 75 lb German Shepherd and my sister's 75 lb Pitbull perfectly and comfortable to fit so I will definitely keep that in mind if I plan to make any purchases in the future and for anyone looking to purchase I strongly encourage you to keep this in mind. After receiving the XXXL jackets the size for both dogs was absolutely perfect and the jackets themselves (this one in particular) seem very comfortable, warm, cozy, fairly well made and overall good quality especially considering their affordable price . The only complaint I have, aside from sizing issues, is that when returning the blue XL jacket, Rewain said the only size available in XXXL as a replacement would be the same style, just in red. I was totally into the idea of Getting a red jacket as opposed to the blue one I originally chose but when I got the jacket in the mail two days later it was purple for some reason. I personally have no doubts about the purple color, but I wouldn't specifically look for an item of that particular color for my husband. Having exchanged before and the XXXL jacket I received still fits perfectly, I decided to just accept the purple and leave it at that and save myself the hassle of a second exchange. . In the end the color isn't really what it is and the jacket works very well. Most importantly, both dogs ultimately seem to enjoy their jackets, and the jackets serve their purpose very well and seem to keep dogs warm in the cold Texas winter!
