I think the composition of the product may change over time but the description does not. Overall, however, it wasn't too difficult for me and may have saved me hundreds of dollars since my next step was probably a new iPad. I recommend checking out some YouTube demos so you know what you're getting into. Then select the one that makes sense when replacing. And be careful with those tiny screws, because if you try to snap everything back on, they tend to fly towards the iPad's magnetic edges. To be honest these screws were the hardest part for me.
