Initially, like others (I'm sure), I was trying to do something other than trying to act as a room divider in an aquarium. I urge people to reconsider their decision unless they really need it for this purpose or similar uses. But that's a far cry from a standard egg crate. Slightly smaller than the cell and much thinner across the board, taking away any rigidity. This material bends effortlessly and they even post a photo showing it with multiple hands twisting it. I wanted to use it as a lid/topper for a 40 gallon aquarium that also needed to support 2 pounds of weight. That won't happen to them! However, the product will do exactly what it is advertised to do. I see many uses in the aquarium world. Fish farmers in particular can use them to provide juvenile fish with shelter where adults cannot go. I keep my water lettuce growing area setup kit in my swamp in an area that would otherwise clog the next area with wire/floss. two panels of these keep the plants slightly isolated to allow them to grow to export nitrates. I rated it 1 star. These panels are very difficult to put together. I assembled a few parts by hand but almost thought of using a rubber mallet.
