Review on ProGreen Compostable Biodegradable VINCOTTE Certified Household Supplies by Stuart Rasmussen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Love it! Don't believe "bad " reviewers, they're stupid.

After reviewing over 20 other products on various websites I settled on ProGreen. I feel like some of the 'bad' reviews were just written by ignorant people. First, use a compostable bag that will eventually disintegrate if you don't take it out within a few days (and having wet stuff in the bag will speed up the process). That's the whole point! We personally have a problem with fruit flies due to the abundance of food, so we keep a bag of compost in a bowl in the freezer. Best idea! Anyway, I've never had any problems with these bags. If you throw away leftovers and heavy groceries, you should change the bag more often. We're a low-waste family, so we almost never throw away leftovers, mostly bowls and such. So we only have to change the bag every 3 days. It never breaks! I see the potential for leakage if, as I said, you're composting wet ingredients or leftover food. But keeping it in the freezer will prevent this.
