, I have just returned from using this product. I found that wet sandpaper did the trick. If you have deep scratches, I can assure you that this product will not work. In fact, even the owner's manual suggests that you buy their "scratch pen" to fill in the deeper groove of the scratch. This Quixx does a good job of removing "paint residue from your car". That's all. In other words, you cannot remove "permanent" scratches. Here's what you'll get in the box: 1 repair tube, 1 finishing tube, 2 rags, 4 fine 3000 grit sandpaper and an instruction manual. Wet sandpaper trick? Well I basically removed more than half of the "scratches" with just sandpaper. Those weren't scratches at all, just paint residue from another car and paint on the wall. My advice to everyone, especially if you want to remove a lot of scratches, is to buy the following products: Sandpaper (e.g. 3000 grit), scratch remover. composition (they are cheap) and car wax. You save a lot of money instead of using Quixx Scratch Remover. Follow the procedure below.1. Clean the scratched area with water or a very mild all-purpose cleaner.2. Dampen the sandpaper and dampen the scratch area.3. Rub damp sandpaper over the scratches in a circular motion for NO MORE THAN 15 seconds (this should remove any remaining car paint). 4. Then wipe the wet surface of the scratch with a soft towel or rag (use 5. Apply the paste to the scratch and use another dry rag to clean the surface of the scratch for 1-2 minutes 6. Let it dry for a minute before applying a layer of wax Done Add another layer of wax if you like Not removing the scratch means the scratches are "deep under the skin.” Again, you can for the price of the Quixx scratch remover, add a few bucks to buy an entire bottle of 3000 grit sandpaper (which you may already have at home), car wax (which you may also have), and a soft towel.
