Review on πŸŒ€ Quilo QE1SKS Portable Tower Fan - Quiet, Energy Efficient, 3-in-1 Evaporative Cooler & Humidifier by Patricia Muller

Works as advertised

Works as expected. The air was pleasant and cool. The fan has 2 settings and then a separate button for "Turbo" which sets the fan even higher. Seems like just setting 3 speeds on the same button would be easier. Assembly was easy and the instructions were very detailed. I didn't completely fill the water tank but was about to and the low water alarm went off after 4-1/2 hours of operation. It's not a problem for me as I don't plan on using it at night. The only thing I really don't like so far is that the plastic case turned out to be very cheap plastic for the price. At €159 I was expecting something clearer. I believe that if handled roughly, this unit will break fairly easily. In general I am satisfied after the first use. I hope that it will continue to function and be used with due care for a long time. It's important to remember that using evaporative coolers requires good airflow in and out of the room, so leave windows or doors open. I highly recommend buying a humidity monitor and making sure the room humidity is below 60% before using a evaporative cooler. This device increased humidity by 4% while leaving the windows open just a few inches. I opened the windows a little more and the humidity in the room dropped again by 3%. Low humidity is really important to ensure the air is properly cooled as it flows through the device. I suspect that many of the unsatisfied customers are not using this type of cooler in the right conditions. Do your homework and I think you will be very happy with it.
