NOT SQUARE is the best measuring and marking tool
I usually stay away from Chinese stuff. And every time I take a risk, I'm reminded why I usually stay away from them. They will be used in a production environment so I figured offshore materials would suffice. And again I learned my lesson. The shortest square differs from a square by about 0.060 inches in length. I compared it to another one in the pack, but then asked which of the two squares could actually be 90 degrees. Then I compared her to my Starrett. square, and the shortest, of course, is not square. That's all after I was "okay" with that, the little square also had a big notch that pushed the material along the edge so it wasn't a straight edge anymore. was unhappy, but took care of it with an emery.
