More diffuse than desired, good amount of light

Provides light equivalent to a 60w incandescent bulb. It could have been better. Next time I'll go with LEDs because I prefer a more focused beam. The light is more diffused than desired and much more than incandescent. I think there are two reasons: 1. It's a CFL and 2. It has a hazy diffuser coating on the front.
