This ended my endless drain problem with my iSpring reverse osmosis system that I got in 2013. Topping up your pressure tank can ease the draining issue a bit. Check if it is an ASO valve or a check valve by closing the reservoir valve but leaving the inlet valve open (which comes from your house plumbing). If it continues to drain, the ASO valve may be defective. If you do the opposite (turn on the tank valve, turn off the water supply) and it stops flowing, then it's most likely the ASO valve. A few installation tips: Be sure to buy an extra reverse osmosis tube so you can put the new tube on at the same time, especially if your old ASO valve has fittings like mine. Push the hose into the quick couplers fairly firmly, if you don't push the rubber ring in it will leak through this fitting. You can take out a small plastic sponge to see where the rubber ring is to get an idea of what to push through. There are some good YouTube videos on how to install them properly if you're still stuck. Before installing your reverse osmosis system, leave it on for 10-15 minutes with everything turned on to make sure there are no leaks. If one of the quick connectors is leaking, see the note above on how to slide it through the rubber ring. You can use petroleum jelly if it's really stubborn.
