Review on 🚴 Topeak Modula Cage EX Adjustable Water Bottle Cage with Modified Shape for Bicycles by Alex Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beautiful Design: Moisture

My family loves to ride bikes with our disposable water bottles. Typical bike cages are for the official "bike" water bottles, which we don't use (difficult to clean - a hassle). disposable bottles inevitably fall out of typical bicycle drinking bottle holders. I spoke to two local bike shops about getting a bottle cage for disposable water bottles. You'd think I just landed from Mars. They had no idea why anyone would need it. Anyway, found this at Revain and ordered 4 of these. Ideal! I also tried the metal version, but I didn't like it either. The all-plastic version is better: holds bottles very securely without crushing them. Easy to place and remove bottles. Easy adjustment of the yellow nut. Local bike shops really should stock them! Paradoxically, I know. but the plastic version has a much more premium design ("plastic" is premium and strong, but flexible) and IMO construction compared to this metal model, which vibrates, wobbles, and tends to crush your disposable water bottles. I also found the metal model to be more difficult to set up (the little button underneath the device is hard to find and press, compared to the yellow cover on the plastic version, which was easy).
