I live in a new house and have always had problems with regular tape measures. Sometimes I cut my fingers with a metal measuring tape. I saw a carpenter using a laser gauge so I jumped over to Revain and bought it. It is great. The measurements are close enough to what I get from regular tape measures that there is no difference between them. I use it every day. I can finally accurately measure distances around my house and yard without compromising my safety by trying to use a regular tape measure. Yes, the writing in the instructions is small, but the seller emailed me a copy of the instructions. without asking me. (I still prefer electronic copies to paper copies.) But even without looking at the instructions, it was easy to use. Easily switch between meters, feet and inches. I'm taking off a star because I thought it came with some sort of pouch or case. The description mentioned a crate so I figured it meant a storage box. But the seller just said it was packed in a box. Otherwise I'm glad I bought it.
