I've had these for a long time and the bristles stay straight. Bamboo is really beautiful, it's nice to have something special when doing the dirty work! Haha I have to say they are sooo well made for the money. I looked at brands to find something I would like. Then Revane showed me this. fall in love. Tired of dollar stores where the bristles are all bent and quickly becoming useless. I like the scrubber idea. Wouldn't it be nice if they came with their own dryer? I just keep them under the sink for quick storage. I throw them in the dishwasher when needed and have had no problems with that. They certainly outperform brand names. Treats my nonstick pans so easily but wipes away the dirt. I like the double-ended brush/scraper for those really hard objects.
