Damaged poles?: my feedback

I was just gifted this hammock with the warranty for my birthday and am currently in the process of trying to put it together. I had already put the other half onto the base bars when I noticed this on my other side. The bar is bent in and has a physical indentation on the side. I can’t slide in the base tube into it because of this.

Pros

Good price, perfect indoors without hanging from wall. Feels good on my back. Comfortable watching TV.

Cons

The hammock's size may not be compatible with small apartments or houses.

I''m 6''2" 315lbs and it''s sturdy, roomy and comfortable even for someone my size. The only thing I did was replaced the S-hook with carabiner style.
