Great pepper grinder - not made in China!

Super fast delivery for this from Germany. The seller has emailed me twice to make sure the grinder has arrived and we are happy with the product. We are very satisfied with the Mühle Zassenhaus - even enthusiastic. Looking back over the years, I found that finding a decent pepper mill that actually worked was a constant source of frustration. I remember the last wood mill we had was ordered from a spice company 25 or more years ago for about $50. It still works, but barely; it's weak and breaks down easily, and the grind is unpredictable. We were glad to find this grinder after purchasing too many unsatisfactory pepper grinders from various stores ranging from grocery stores to department stores. This new Zassenhaus is a precision machine. looks very nice and does its job well. Adjusting the dials on the bottom changes the grind size, but we rarely do this. It's bigger than I thought it would be and has enough capacity for peppers. Refueling is fairly easy for me, and mechanical skills are not my forte. A welcome change in times of disposable scrap from China. We have a couple of coffee grinders we bought from a local shop claiming to be from England (a hidden label in the box revealed they were actually made in China) that are completely useless for grinding peppers. I never seem to have to adjust my grind level; something like "set and forget". Maybe it grinds either finer or coarser, but of course one grind is enough for our family. So I buy three more Zassenhaus coffee grinders and hope they last a long time. Peppercorns Premium. We order them from TheSpiceHouse.com. A grinder with a larger knob may be easier to use than a grinder with a pointed lid and wooden ball, especially for people with arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome. I can recommend this coffee grinder without hesitation. Pepper because it's so much better than anything we've ever seen in stores, even at much higher prices.
