It is difficult to rate this remedy because it is difficult to rate its effectiveness. All I know is that it can work, it's cheap, it's small and doesn't take up much space, it just plugs into an outlet, it has 3 settings for different functions, and it's silent. I believe that strong odors like cat pee might require a larger and more complex device; but for the general purpose of cleaning the air without a very bad odor it seems to help.
