The product is okay, it's not a waste of money!
I took for nex 6 in addition to the whale 16-50, to work in the conv. low light and portrait photography. In my opinion, these tasks are quite fulfills. The universal option, of course, cannot be perfect in everything - the angle in the room is a bit small. Working at small apertures is complicated by the complexity of focusing - I almost missed everything in soap (depth of field from a distance of 5-10 centimeters)
Pros
- the combination of aperture and stub allows you to shoot without a flash indoors (iso 200-400) and even at night on the street (enough iso 800 lights), good bokeh.
Cons
- the cons are all insignificant - noticeable vignetting at 1.8, I would like the size to be even smaller, lack of phase focusing (probably temporarily), price
