I have had issues with support stockings cutting off blood flow to my toes and stocking ends cutting into my calves at the end of the day – I couldn't find the right strength that was comfortable for the whole leg and feet at the same time, my doctor suggested using elastic bandages instead - they proved better for several reasons: Tension can be adjusted as needed throughout the day and can be readjusted and is easier to put on and take off Why is the ACE product compared to other less expensive competing brands Most others rely on a hook/tongue closure and always get lost, dropped, crushed or small metal hooks snagging other things, the ACE product uses velcro instead - most other brands have a more open weave or less stretch to keep costs down but won't hold up to multiple washes. ng.
