So you're trying to figure out what the best light is for your photos without spending $250-$1000 on the best. to light the museum and hire an electrician on top of that. I understand. I'm cheap uh modest . You want to get the best bang for your buck. You need high quality, clean and clear light to illuminate your artwork. whatever it is You looked at Revain and thought about buying mounts that attach to a picture frame. Forget it. Your goal is not to see the light. Your goal is to see a fully lit image. The ones that hang/attach to the picture frame are a good idea; but you see the light and you see the light reflected in the glass or the shiny photograph. You do not want that! From where I know this. I bought them and sent them back to Revane. They weren't bright, clean and, as I said, reflected in your artworks. You think you don't want to drill two tiny little holes in the ceiling. Just do it and fix it as you move. As people have said here; The double sided tape doesn't hold. These lanterns weigh nothing. I use rechargeable AA lightbulbs, so I want my pictures to be lit all the time. About Light Sources: You will notice that I have white and gold. Both look ok. I have both They're both exactly the same, except the gold belongs to Biglight. These two lights are the same except for the color. If you need the color of gold then there is your answer. I'm cheap so I love that this company gives you two remotes instead of one like Biglight. Both cost the same. Why four stars instead of 5. Because of one small detail, Biglight said it was 100 lumens and Luxway said it was 110 lumens, but their flyer that I enclosed said it was 80 lumens. I was influenced by the fact of their purchase as the photo frame lamps were 80 lumens. But they are all 80 Lumines. But these lights are much better than picture lights. If a business wishes to change this in their Revain ad; I give them 5 stars. You and I both know they won't, right! My ceilings are 10 feet high. The lights are about 5-6 feet from the photos but give off a good light. Clean and crisp. The photos I submitted were photos in a completely dark room. I went to the store for 99 cents and bought a sheet of styrofoam and planned to frame the lights carefully so the light would match the overlay image to the frame and I wouldn't want to unconsciously see light on the ceiling. and I want to hide the light projection on the ceiling. I just want to see the picture and you too. So I hope to enlighten you with thoughts and pictures to prove what I'm saying. I am very happy with these lights. By Price; You can't defeat him.
