I'm not a gamer but I type a lot and wanted a backlit keyboard at night. The only ones geared towards gamers. I was interested in the idea of a mechanical keyboard. I also needed a mouse and mouse pad so when I saw this offer I accepted. The mechanical keyboard is great. It's like pressing keys on a typewriter. The red light is bright. To conserve LEDs, I turn them off when not in use. How to do this is in the instructions. Also how to adjust the brightness. The font on the keys is a bit different, it will take me some time to get used to it, but it doesn't really matter. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. Only 3 stars for durability because it could have gone either way. I hope the LEDs will last more than a month. Some reviews say they fade quickly. And yes, the keyboard is quite loud. Even when listening to music, I still hear key clicks at the bottom. I understand people won't like it. If you don't know it, watch it on YouTube.
