I bought this projector for use in a guest room as an alternative to a TV. It certainly isn't a very professional machine at the $200 price point, but it exceeded my expectations and served my intended purposes very well. A few things I learned from this purchase might help new users. 1. The projection area depends on the distance of the projector from the screen/wall and the limited adjustment possibilities. Revane gives you the details in one of the pictures. This is not an ultra short throw projector. So if you want a certain size display, make sure there is enough space between them. It was mentioned in the description that it supports your Android/iPhone and various tablets/laptops. Unlike today's "Smart TV”, this projector supports these devices via HDMI, so you need to connect HDMI to this projector via an adapter or other device (I use an Apple TV).3. 6800 lux is BRIGHT and works very well on a white wall, but using a projector screen improves the quality, provides very nice contrast and shows shadow detail very well.4. I also tried this projector in my living room which is quite bright with lots of windows. During the day the picture looked "blurry" but when I closed all the blinds everything worked fine. My guess is that this projector won't work outdoors in bright sunlight, but I haven't tried it. This projector worked without any problems in the quest room.
