Plain ovals are a must when making greeting cards
I emboss this oval while it's still in the die and do about a dozen shades of white to keep in reserve. I find that the combination of white ovals with pastel colored ovals of different sizes is often the basis of a postcard. I just add a folded cardboard rectangular base, a centerpiece, a fun message, some twine or ribbon, maybe a button or three, or a pair of fishtail tags, and my card is done!
