bad fumes and then died for 5 days

The fumes coming from this PSU were so bad my throat hurt. Then, along with the moisture from the shower, the fire alarm went off. (Neither the shower itself nor the computer itself caused this.) But whatever. I installed a desktop USB fan and used a flexible drying duct to blow out the fumes. After 4 days the smoke was gone. But on the 5th day, the power supply also disappeared. In the middle of working on the computer. phew! everything turned off. It didn't restart. I didn't know if it was the motherboard or the PSU and when I found out the 'return window' had closed. Then I bought another power supply from a different manufacturer. I don't recommend this one.
