After a recent power outage forced us to place candles strategically around the house, I bought four packs of these little pups as the best alternative for the next zombie apocalypse. These LED lights are inexpensive, functional and as cute as can be. I love that there aren't any buttons or switches to fiddle with or break - just flip the top up and you'll have instant radiant satisfaction. I wouldn't rely on them in a situation where they're being shaken too hard (they're not strong enough for your pocket), but they work well for my purposes. Enough warm light to illuminate a bedroom, very portable and compact enough for easy storage (each is slightly larger than a 15 ounce can). They also make great party lights to hang on your patio or hide in your car's emergency kit in case you need to change a tire in the dark. I would like to see this design in a waterproof anodized aluminum case - this would greatly expand its usefulness in harsher environments.
