Review on 🐾 Deluxe Replacement Cover for Small Animal Heated Pad - Gray, 9" x 12" (Pad Sold Separately) by K&H Pet Products by Dawn Coleman

I received this cover for a same brand bed warmer that I bought for a very young stray kitten that I was raising. Please note that this product is a case only and not the heater itself which is sold separately. If I were using a pet bed heater under a blanket I might not buy this cover at all. However, my plan was to have the kitty sleep on a heating pad without a bed, so I needed a soft surface that would stay in place. The case is perfect for the heating pad. This is a convex, carpet-like material on the top, which is comfortable for a pet lying on the mat without a bed. The lid got comfortably warm but never hot even though the heating pad was on for weeks. The cover is easy to remove for washing, which is good because the fluffy fabric gets dirty easily if your pet sleeps directly on it (that's the only thing I didn't like about it). Before that I bought this blanket and heater for it, the kitten screamed and shivered at night despite the warm blankets. With these two items, the kitten and I were able to fall asleep. Whenever I walked in he was there, snoozing happily on top of them - solid product promotion if there ever was one!
