After loading three, I placed two above the stove about 2.5 feet above the stove. They lasted about three days and then stopped working. I haven't tested yet if they just need to be charged to get them working again. The third, the first loaded, still works, but hasn't been over the stove long. Now it is not mounted anywhere. Note: I haven't seen any warnings to install them over the stove.
