Thank you thank you after 6 steering gears it finally worked and didn't cost me an arm and a leg! Yes, I said six, I have my dad's 1970 Chevy C10 4x4 pickup and he added power steering and replaced the steering gear. unfortunately he's not with us and it was a trial and error process, thanks a lot, it's working!
