Inexpensive and I doubled the memory of my 5 year old Dell desktop. I couldn't run some new memory-intensive programs very quickly, but that has more to do with the age of the computer components than with these memory banks. It seems that nowadays you need at least 16 gigabytes of RAM. If I get away from my computer in a few more years, I'll be happy. Just open the computer case, pull out the old ones and plug them in. Simple and you're good to go; nothing else to set up. I chose them based on the reviews rather than the cheaper ones. The villains have problems from the start. Been using it for a few months now, no problems.
