Review on πŸ–¨οΈ FLSUN Auto Leveling Screen Printer: High Precision 200X200mm Printing Platform by Robert Dabney

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy to use and assemble.

FLSUN Q5 is my second 3D printer but my first delta printer. It's fun to watch the movement of the extruder while printing. Installation was easy and took less than 15 minutes. Prints well. The textured heated bed holds my PLA prints securely without the need for hairspray, tape, or glue sticks. Just let it cool before attempting to remove the impressions, as some people have ruined the glass platform by removing cartridges from it while they were hot and attached too tightly. I've also printed with TPU (flexible) and PETG filament. The automatic bed leveling makes bed leveling much easier than my old 3D printer. It has an 8 inch round print bed which is smaller than my old 200 x 200 square print bed. This hasn't given me any problems, but make sure what you're trying to print fits within a 7.5" circle. The vertical height of the prints can be up to 180 mm. The printer is quiet, but the hot-end fan blows a lot of air and is the noisiest part of the printer. It sits on my desk and I can still talk to people on the phone while I'm printing, so overall it's a pretty quiet printer.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
