What a great addition to our deck! I love that the strips are waterproof and we've seen this happen in a downpour - they held up great and looked good when wet. The kit comes with two spinners, each with one strip, and you can connect them directly to the pigtail power supply or to each other via an adapter. From the power supply comes a third wire dedicated to the infrared remote receiver - this is a part that could be improved if this kit had an RF receiver instead of IR, but that doesn't matter, it just means you have one need line. vision to control them. The lights have many display options from too many colors to slow flashing to fast flashing, it's a lot of fun. To be honest we prefer them to stay the same color but it's fun to be able to play with them every now and then. The polymer coating that makes them waterproof really strengthens the strips so I expect them to last a long time. I am very happy with the purchase, I will probably take more!
