Review on Experience gaming like never before with Xbox Core Wireless Controller in Pulse Red by Ada Kotarska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

Although I did not use the controller that came with my predecessor, the Xbox One, there are a lot of memories associated with the controller that came with the Xbox 360. My first experience with it was in conjunction with the console; later on, I was given a wired model that came with a PC adapter as a present. I have never in my life seen gamepads that are more convenient than they are right now. While using a DualShock 3rd or DualShock 4th, you won't get the same feeling. Wow, the stick location, and the button feel! As someone who went straight from the 360 model to the series one, I can say that, in general, the textured surface, the vibration in the triggers, the slightly changed shape, and the globally redesigned cross leave only positive impressions. This is because I made the switch from the 360 model to the series one. Well, you're right; I completely overlooked how simple it is to join and set everything up. If you have the most recent version of Windows 10 and a Bluetooth module (I use a laptop, so this applies to all electronic devices), all you need to do is hit one pairing button, and everything will function without any additional configuration. About the location of the battery compartment, I would appreciate some additional information. Naturally, it is a wonderful feature that you are able to place regular or rechargeable batteries in that location; this enables you to switch the power source without actually having to look up from the game, and you can also use any batteries that suit your aesthetic preferences and color scheme. Nonetheless, because of this function, the gamepad is somewhat more expensive than its MSRP would indicate, although this is not immediately obvious. In any event, the user will be required to make a purchase from Microsoft, either a starter package that includes a battery or batteries on a more regular basis. I strongly suggest that you take this into consideration. If you play video games frequently, it is in your best interest to invest in an official battery right away; the initial investment will be more than justified in a short amount of time (when compared with batteries bought every time). And finally, about the connector for charging or connecting to a PC via a wire: it is quite disappointing that the package did not come with a USB-type c cable. This standard is not supported by any of the electronics in the home. Lightning or micro-USB connections are required for everything. In addition, due to the fact that I only had one gamepad, I had to buy a cord (which I have used so far only once in more than a month of using the gamepad itself to ate the firmware).

Pros
  • Constructive excellence Extremely comfortable to hold in one's hands Straightforward and simple to put together The capability of making use of batteries rather than a battery (on the other hand, this is a minus) Use of XInput technology enables complete backwards and forwards compatibility with the great majority of games (unlike most other gamepads that work on DirectInput technology)
Cons
  • If we are talking about the declared technical criteria, then we can say that they all match the reality, the quality is exceptional, and there is no room for debate on this point. I am able to point out the problems with nothing in particular: the lack of a built-in battery and, more glaringly, the absence of a USB-Type C cable in the kit are the two major drawbacks of this product.
