Edit: Change this to 3 stars out of 5. I had to host an important Zoom meeting which derailed because this mic was disconnected from the laptop several times during the 1 hour meeting. At one point, neither Zoom nor Windows could even detect the microphone. I had to restart Zoom twice and lost a lot of time in the meeting due to this confusion. Currently I would not recommend it as a compatible microphone for Zoom meetings. The new laptop had an underperforming microphone. and I needed one that I didn't have to wear as a headset or headphones, which I find can be awkward to put on and take off between meetings. I provide tech support and teach Zoom and Teams meetings and I need a speakerphone that picks up my voice well and clearly. I was very impressed with the performance of this microphone. My mic tests consisted of speaking directly into it, facing my two monitors and speaking with the mic in front and to the side, then turning away from the mix. but still at my desk, and in all three scenarios the mix picked me up loud and clear. Good build quality too. My favorite feature is the glowing red LED button that shows the microphone is on. The installation requires no action as Windows 10 has taken care of everything. I actually have this USB mic and USB speaker connected to a USB 4 hub via a docking station and everything works like clockwork.
