(Updated) Stable with back screw, previously used DVI cable as fastening strap, HDMI/DP for output.

(Updated to 5 stars) Glad to be back on this site and looking at other people's reviews after 2.5 years of daily use without a rear propeller . Then I realized I missed it, I can just throw it away. This is a custom screw. Contacted customer service and got a replacement quickly. After installing the rear screw, this VESA adapter supports the XG270HU quite stably at right angles. ------------------------------- - - (Old report without rear support) I have to say that they came up with the idea are designing this and the base fits my XG270HU perfectly. 4 stars for actually saving me money to buy a new monitor just for assembly. And while the material has great strength. BUT, BUT, BUT. The stabilizer only helps prevent the monitor from tipping backwards, but doesn't help at all to prevent the installed monitor from tipping forward, which usually happens when you install the monitor and want it to be at eye level. Who sets up the monitor and lowers his head to look at it, because the monitor is only stable when tilted backwards. As a result, the monitor easily detaches when touched or even pushed onto the table. When I moved a year after this purchase, I looked at the flat back of my monitor and found the solution! With no hook point on the back to tie or attach anything to, video outs are the only choice. Luckily, the DVI connector has two screws to keep it stable. As shown in the picture, I connected the DVI connector and attached the monitor to my mounting stand. Now the whole structure is much more stable and the monitor no longer shakes when it moves. Of course, I use the display/HDMI port for audio/video output.

Pros
  • Seems so good at the moment
Cons
