I bought this for my 2 year old grandson to use with his new swing set. He's a bit young to get used to the regular fluctuations that come with that. This swing has replaced one of the standard swings and is perfect for it. You can easily change the height to the one that suits your child best. He can sit on it or lie on his stomach. He feels so grown up getting up alone! Buyers just need to know one thing, you will get everything you need except for the hardware to attach the swing to whatever you want to hang it on. We bought 2 strong carabiners which were perfect for his swing. The equipment you need depends on where you want to hang the swing. The assembly took about 15 minutes.
