Edited Update: OK I rated that one star first. BUT I went further and just took it to the hospital for photos and it all made sense there. The material is thin and stretchy, perfect for swaddling. It really allows you to pull tight and tuck away. The hat fits well for a child weighing almost 6 pounds. I wore diapers every night for 2 weeks and washed and dried them every night before bed. This has actually become one of the best items I've bought for immediate use. Original Rating: Sorry for the product. The hat is acceptable and will be fine for a newborn, but the receiving blanket/diaper is nothing more than a piece of leftover flimsy, SUPER THIN fabric. This is a joke item. The material and quality of the kit costs about $3. Super thin and super cheap. Better quality hospital blankets than that junk.
