I received this coat in a medium size based on my bust size. My 45 lb Labradoodle is 24 inches tall so sits comfortably in the mid-range. Got this coat and it fits my 8 lb 14.5 inch maltip like a glove. It was fun opening the package and seeing a coat the size of a toy breed come out. Basically, do not go for the chest measurement. It went so well with my painting tip that I left it for her. The only problem is that the back is too short. She has an 11" back and the average is probably 9-10" down her back. Will suit some breeds with a short back like a French bulldog or similar (assuming that's why they used it in the product images) but really not ideal for a breed with a normal back length.
