I replaced this part with the existing Motorcraft IAC valve and my truck no longer idled so low it sounded like it was struggling . It also seems to have contributed to my truck running too rich. There is now less dirt coming out of the exhaust and the truck seems to drive more economically. My only criticism of the product is that a cold factory truck runs at 1500 rpm until it warms up a bit (after about a minute) or engages a gear. After warming up (or putting it in gear) the truck idles very well at 700 rpm.
