The oil is excellent

The aroma is reminiscent of a pine tree cut in spring, but from a distance. I say "wide" because the scent is very light and unobtrusive. It's one of those colognes that kind of follows you but is so light that nobody cares. I think men who don't like heavy aftershaves and colognes will like them. My favorite beard oil, it's thick, about twice the thickness of Hopps #9 gun oil, and is pretty easy to apply to the beard when you first get out of the shower, it reminds me of the days when people used lanolin used hair. This oil is very similar in consistency to this one, but not as "oily" as sheep fat. All products have the same light pine-cedar aroma with hints of lupine and bear brush. I love it. Cologne balm is a bit softer than beard balm, but both have a very thin, paraffin-like consistency, but spread fairly evenly at room temperature. When it's cold, both are very robust. In reality, they don't look as big as in the photo, but it looks like they'll be around for a long time. I sort through colognes and hair products for a long time, although I use them every day I just don't apply too much which makes this set perfect. The beard balm and oil are only 2 ounces and the cologne balm is only 1 ounce so you can take them on the plane. The balm can be used with a razor and bar of soap but not with liquids, saving space in your liquid pouch. The scent is classy and I consider it appropriate for both upscale urban and rural lifestyles. I'm a rural person who has to work in a professional office most of the time, so this product is the perfect combination.

Pros
