A gift for a four year old but would make a great gift for any age who enjoys this pattern. After 6 months of use by a toddler it is still in its new shape even after trying to close it because it was too full. So definitely well done. And it holds an amazing amount of stuff and has multiple levels to organize her makeup and a mirror big enough to be useful. I gave four stars for the trip because I'm not sure how it will survive being put in a suitcase or being crushed by luggage. And I gave 4 stars for ease of locking just because I can't compete with the small key, and if you're worried about cosmetic theft you should probably invest in a different style of case.
