My son used it on our recent plane trip and also at a family reunion. The meeting was so loud he couldn't hear his DVD, so he just turned it on. I like adjustable (and limiting) audio, but sometimes it takes some adjustment to get sound from both sides. I suspect the cable is loose inside. We were also able to use the Friends Plug and two children listened to the same device. I love how compact it is (because it folds) and how light (both for parents who need to carry it and for kids who need to carry it on their heads).
