There are times when electric or cordless grinders are impractical. With them you have more control, especially for easier and more detailed work. They are the right size, very light, comfortable to hold and can cover a large area surprisingly quickly. Works well in corners. They did a great job sanding and leveling old hard enamel paint on window sills and other surfaces before applying the now all too common acrylic paint. Abrasive discs fit and hold up great, although there are undoubtedly better discs out there in terms of durability. Considering the price, it's pretty damn good value for money.
