I checked the Kolpin website to see which model fits my 2016 Rancher. He said it was this one, although it was marked here as a match for Foreman. I used a bolt on Kurt's hitch receiver but it only connected to a large bolt. It didn't feel particularly secure and the axle would almost spin if there was a heavy load. It seemed to put a lot of stress on the back end. This kolpin appears to be much stronger as it is bolted to the axle itself. It was pretty easy to install. The pictures in the instructions were hard to see but it was pretty clear once you saw how it was made. I tightened everything and it seems nice and secure. I haven't hauled anything with it yet, let's see how it holds up.
